  1. Hey,

I just read ‘The Ballad of the Thin Man’ over at the Absent Willow Review. Just thought I’d say I liked it, thought it was pretty neat. I’ve seen / heard of the whole ‘Slender Man’ internet myth / phenomenon, and this was a nice take on it, I thought.

One question: how come you called him the Thin Man, and not the Slender Man?

    Best,

    J Westlake.

  2. Thanks for the read and glad you liked the story.

Though i’ve heard of Slenderman, i hadn’t when i wrote this story. And, even still, i know nothing about it and The Thin Man’s relation to Slenderman can only be coincidental.

    But, yeah, appreciate the read.
